New syllabus from 2013.
सामान्य क्षमता चाचणी:
प्रश्नसंख्या – १०० एकूण गुण – १०० दर्जा – पदवी वेळ – १ तास प्रश्न स्वरूप – वस्तुनिष्ठ
१. चालू घडामोडी – जागतिक तसेच भारतातील
२. नागरिकशास्त्र – भारताच्या घटनेचा प्राथमिक अभ्यास, राज्य व्यवस्थापन (प्रशासन), गरम व्यवस्थापन (प्रशासन)
३. आधुनिक भारताचा विशेषत: महाराष्ट्राचा इतिहास
४. भूगोल (महाराष्ट्राच्या भूगोलाच्या विशेष संदर्भासह): पृथ्वी, जगातील विभाग, हवामान, अक्षांश-रेखांश, महाराष्ट्रातील जमिनीचे प्रकार, पर्जन्यमान, प्रमुख पिके, शहरे, नद्या, उद्योगधंदे, इत्यादी.
५. अर्थव्यवस्था – भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था – राष्ट्रीय उत्त्पन्न, शेती, उद्योग, परकीय व्यापार, बँकिंग, लोकसंख्या, दारिद्र्य , मुद्रा आणि राजकोषीय नीती इत्यादी.
शासकीय अर्थव्यवस्था – अर्थसंकल्प, लेखा, लेखा परीक्षण इत्यादी
६. सामान्य विज्ञान– भौतिकशास्त्र, रसायनशास्त्र, प्राणीशास्त्र, वनस्पतीशास्त्र व आरोग्यशास्त्र.

@Rajesh, MSCIT certificate is compulsory for all the exams conducted by MPSC.

@शीतल, राज्यशासनाच्या शाळेची विषयानुरूप पुस्तके आणि काही निवडक पब्लिकेशन ची पुस्तके वाचावी लागतील. त्यासोबतच चार वर्तमानपत्रे, चार पाच मासिके वाचावीत. ह्याबद्दल मी लिहून ठेवले आहे ते शोधून वाचा.
Hello sir i’m studying t.y.b.a with english as a special subject & now i have applied for sti pre exams, sir I want to know that whether selected subject in final year will be useful for me in competitive exams or not, especially for sti & please give me the link to get the previous years papers of sti pre.

sir, i am last year engineering student,if i want to apply for STI what shoud i fill in qualification type dialog box , as it does not gives option of ‘persuing degree’
@Ketan, if your final result is expected in May/Jun then you can apply else NO. When you add the qualification, choose the option “Appeared” from the “Result” menu.

What is procedure of selection for handicap candidate.having any type of medical test or not
@Ganesh, after clearing all the stages of exam, a handicapped candidate needs to submit required certificates. For every exam conducted by MPSC every candidate has to undergo medical test prescribed by the government rules.

@Avinash, yes, of course. You are not late for it. Max age limit for Open category for MPSC Rajyaseva and STI is 38 yrs.

Sir,I have a doubt to clear from u.
Sir,I have no problems in maths as well as English,these both subjects have been my favorite since my secondary education.
But I know nothing about Marathi grammar,its syllabus appears to be vast.
Plez tell me which book should I refer for it?
