New syllabus from 2013.
सामान्य क्षमता चाचणी:
प्रश्नसंख्या – १०० एकूण गुण – १०० दर्जा – पदवी वेळ – १ तास प्रश्न स्वरूप – वस्तुनिष्ठ
१. चालू घडामोडी – जागतिक तसेच भारतातील
२. नागरिकशास्त्र – भारताच्या घटनेचा प्राथमिक अभ्यास, राज्य व्यवस्थापन (प्रशासन), गरम व्यवस्थापन (प्रशासन)
३. आधुनिक भारताचा विशेषत: महाराष्ट्राचा इतिहास
४. भूगोल (महाराष्ट्राच्या भूगोलाच्या विशेष संदर्भासह): पृथ्वी, जगातील विभाग, हवामान, अक्षांश-रेखांश, महाराष्ट्रातील जमिनीचे प्रकार, पर्जन्यमान, प्रमुख पिके, शहरे, नद्या, उद्योगधंदे, इत्यादी.
५. अर्थव्यवस्था – भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था – राष्ट्रीय उत्त्पन्न, शेती, उद्योग, परकीय व्यापार, बँकिंग, लोकसंख्या, दारिद्र्य , मुद्रा आणि राजकोषीय नीती इत्यादी.
शासकीय अर्थव्यवस्था – अर्थसंकल्प, लेखा, लेखा परीक्षण इत्यादी
६. सामान्य विज्ञान– भौतिकशास्त्र, रसायनशास्त्र, प्राणीशास्त्र, वनस्पतीशास्त्र व आरोग्यशास्त्र.
७. बुद्धिमापन चाचणी व अंकगणित

sir me BCA chi student aahe aani aamchi university tirunevali chi aahe (manonmaniam sundarnar university) maz BCA 1st v 3rd year complete aahe pan 2nd cha ek subject rahila aahe to mi aata det aahe. sir hi university maharashtrachya baheril aahe tar mala STI kiva MPSC chi exam deta yeil ka. clerk chi exam detana typing chi certificate dyavich lagtat ka? karan maz mashin typing zalel nahiye pan computer typing fast aahe. plz rpl.
@Supriya, yes, it is listed in the list of universities on MPSC website. Clerk exams is NOT monitored by me.

@Raj, I don’t think so there will be any problem with this. However, please get your self examined by a doctor.

I am Priyanka More I have completed my B.Sc. with mathematics subject with first class from Solapur university and upto 12th (Science) I studied with CBSE board at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaaya Solapur, so my problem is that I m confuse to select the language for exam as I studied Science in English but history, geography n Eco. in Hindi. And I am not in touch with social science after 10th, so m facing problems in my preparation to…. please suggest me…………..
@Priyanka, you should go for English medium for preparation as you may not be able to understand certain terms in Marathi. No props, start afresh and you will overcome every obstacle.

Sir.myself Dr.Anant Pawar.I m practising since last 4 years.earning well as that of class 2 officer.I passed mpsc pre but failed main in2009.after that I leave and started practise which is running well.I m not satisfied in practise and want to do something for society.can I pass the exam while practising.?
@Dr. Anant, we have almost 7 doctors who are preparing through our PGP for MPSC/UPSC besides doing their practice or work in hospitals. So you can also devote 3-4 hours everyday for 1 or 2 yrs to prepare for MPSC/UPSC.
when im going to upload the image of sign and photo. it shows the error of image size is not greater than the height-4.5cm and widht-3.5cm.

@Pravin, resize the images according to this : Photo – 100 (width) x 130 (height) pixels i.e. 0.85 cm X 1.1 cm
Signature – 100 (width) x 60 (height) i.e. 1.27 cm x 0.76 cm

@दीपक, कागदावर टेबल तयार करून त्यात आकडेवारी टाकावी आणि तो टेबल भिंतीला चिकटवून ठेवा व रोज त्याला बघून तयारी करा. माहिती लिहिण्यासाठी वेगवेगळ्या कलरचे पेन वापरा. पेपर सोडवण्याचा सराव करा म्हणजे परीक्षेत वेळेचे नियोजन करता येईल.

I want to give mpsc exam..plz guide me hw can I wil get success in this exam and my age is 31 year and I m belonging sc category student..I know the structure abt mpsc exam bt do not know hw to give whaitage to each subject.
@Sandip, you need to prepare each and every topic from each subject as outlined in the syllabus. NEVER prepare few selected topics. Have a look at this year’s papers (Prelims + Mains) and you will understand what I mean to day. Only those candidates get selected who have done in-depth study.

@Swati, no limit on attempts. You can give the exam till the max age limit of 33 yrs(Open category).

@Anuja, MPSC has not yet declared about it but as per my opinion, the 0.25% system (per question) will be applicable.
