Here are details of the physical test for PSI Exam:
Total Marks: 100
You need to score minimum 50 marks out of 100 then only you will be called for Interview else no.
Total 4 events: For Men
1) Running : 50 Marks
- 800 meters (to be covered in 2 min 30 seconds) – 50 Marks
- 800 meters (if covered in 2 min 30 seconds – 2 min 40 seconds) – 44 Marks
- 800 meters (if covered in 2 min 40 seconds – 2 min 50 seconds) – 35 Marks
- 800 meters (if covered in 3 min 20 seconds – 3 min 30 seconds) – 12 Marks
- 800 meters (if covered in more than 3 min 30 seconds) – 00 Marks
2) 8 Pull Ups: 20 Marks (2.5 marks per pull up, i.e. 8 x 2.5 =20 marks)
3) Long Jump : 15 Marks (4.5 meters)
- if the jump is less than 2.5 meters then 0 marks
4) Shot Put (गोळा फेक weight- 7kg 260 gms) : 15 Marks
- Need to throw beyond 7.5 meters: 15 Marks
- If thrown less than 5 meters: 0 Marks
Total 3 events: For Women
1) Running : 40 Marks
- 200 meters
2) Walking: 40 Marks
- 3 Kms
3) Shot Put (गोळा फेक weight- 4kg) : 20 Marks

@Bipil, you should refer the syllabus of MPSC PSI exam. Start preparation immediately. Get maximum books, magazines, etc. Prepare your own Notes. Read all the success mantras (links are given at the bottom).

@Mukul, you should visit the Civil Surgeon and seek the proper guidelines as (s)he is the only person who can give you proper advice regarding your medical condition and eligibility for MPSC exam.

@Sunil, contact lenses are removed and then your eyes are tested in medical exam. If found suitable then only you are selected.
Hello sir…
a small doubt…I have two tattoos on my body…1st on my left chest and 2nd on my back….it doesn’t appear while clothing…is there any norm in medical test that the aspirant should not have any tattoos on the body…pls guide…awaiting for ur kind reply…

@Nikhil, yes, but he/she should have a medal at State or National level and the competition should have been held by authorised agencies. Please refer “General Instructions” PDF file available on MPSC website.

@गोविंद, नुसताच चान्स घेवू नये कारण फक्त फायनल वर्षातच ही परीक्षा देता येते (ऑफिशियली). कदाचित जर मुलाखतीत त्यांनी विचारल कि “एस.वाय.ला असतांना ही परीक्षा देवून सरकारी मालमत्तेचा गैरवापर का केला?” तर मग काय उत्तर देशील? जुन्या प्रश्नपत्रिका सोडवून बघाव्यात जर अनुभवच घ्यायचा असेल तर.

@गोविंद, जर अंगठा आणि त्याच्या शेजारच बोट असेल तर मग शक्य नाही मेडिकल टेस्ट पास होणे पण दुसरे बोट असेल आणि त्याचा कोणत्याही कामात अडथळा येत नसेल तर काही प्रोब्लेम नाही. तरी सुद्धा एकदा सिविल सर्जन कडे जावून चौकशी करावी.

@राहुल, मित्रा, पी.एस.आय. साठी शरीराने सुदृढ असायला पाहिजे त्यामुळे अस्थमा असल्यावर तुला मेडिकल एक्जाम क्लियर करता येणार नाही. तू उप-जिल्हाधिकारी व इतर अनेक क्लास १ व २ साठी प्रयत्न कर.

@राहुल, जर अस्थमा आहे तर मग “फिजिकली फीट” कसे काय? तुमच्या सामान्य हॉस्पिटल मध्य जावून “सिविल सर्जन” चा अभिप्राय घ्यावा आणि तरच ह्या परीक्षेची तयारी करावी अन्यथा वेळ वाया जावू शकते.
