@Kiran, our manual is NOT study material, it is a guidance book. You will need 50 to 60 books in total, 5 to 6 magazines per month for the exam.

I think for UPSC, you need to apply as OBC. The list of castes/categories is available on the UPSC website and you can check it there.

@Rupesh, you should register on mpsconline.gov.in and create your profile there. After notification is issued by MPSC then you can apply online. Do the same for UPSC at upsc.gov.in.

@Bharat, no limit on attempts at MPSC exams. You cna give exams till your max age 38 yrs (for Rajyaseba, STI and Assistant exams) and 31 for PSI.

Plan your study according to availability of time and number of books + syllabus. Once you have a written study plan for next 1 year, get going. Work hard for 1 year and you will succeed. @Sushant, every year the question paper is set by different people and as per the current situation with regard to our deteriorating environment as well as the as per new syllabus, the 2011 paper was most appropriate. However, as a graduate, you should not ignore History for 2012 exam. You are expected to know everything under the Sun.

@Pankaj, STI exam’s advert will come in May 2011. You must start preparing for STI Main and then Pre. All books that are suggested for Rajyaseva Prelims must be read for STI Main exam. You must join our PGP and we will send books, magazines and study plans.
