@राम, तुम्ही पी.एस.आय. होवू शकता कि नाही हे तुमच्या अभ्यासावर आणि परीक्षेतील पर्फोर्मंस वर असेल. ह्या साठी अभ्यासक्रमानुसार एक वर्ष सखोल तयारी करा. दररोज 4-5 तास किंवा कमीतकमी 3-4 तास अभ्यासासाठी काढायचा प्रयत्न करा.

@सुरेश, रामदास वाघ यांचे इंग्रजी ग्रामर वाचा. व्यवस्थितपणे तयारी करा. इंग्रजी पेपर वाचून मराठीत भाषांतर करा व मराठीतून इंग्रजीत करा. इंग्रजी शब्दकोश वाढवा.

@Vidyadhar, build up your grammar by using any standard book for it. Read any English newspaper everyday and try to translate few paragraphs. Get the translation checked for correctness.

@नितीन, सर्वात आधी त्या परीक्षेचा अभ्यासक्रम बघून घ्यावा, एक ऑप्शनल विषय निवडावा. त्याचा सुद्धा अभ्यासक्रम बघावा आणि मग त्यानुसार जास्तीत जास्त पुस्तके (८०-९०) पुस्तके सखोल वाहून स्वत:चे नोट्स तयार करावेत. मुख्य परीक्षेचा अभ्यासक्रम आधी पूर्ण करावा आणि मग पूर्व परीक्षेचा. ह्यासाठी कमीत कमी एक वर्ष आधी सुरुवात करावी.

@विशाल, युपीएससीची पूर्व परीक्षा ओब्जेक्टीव्ह आहे आणि मुख्य परीक्षा डीस्क्रीप्तीव्ह आहे. सर्व पुस्तके मराठीतून तर उपलब्ध नाहीत तर त्यासाठी इंग्रजीतून रेफर करावीत. हिंदीतील शब्द समजायला कठीण असतात. जसे “समसामयिक”, “प्रभावोत्पाद्क”, “समेकीत”.

@प्रशांत, हे मेडिकल टेस्ट मध्ये चेक होत आणि तुम्हाला टेक्निकल सर्विसेस (आय.पी.एस, व इतर काही) साठी अडचण येईल. पण आय.ए.एस. इत्यादी साठी काहीच अडचण येणार नाही. तुमच्या जवळच्या सिविल हॉस्पिटल मधील “सिविल सर्जन” शी भेटून त्यांचा योग्य तो सल्ला घ्यावा.
