Sir, please tell me when MPSC (class-I) prelium is going to be held in the year 2012.
I have completed my B.E.Electrical last year and i want to take optional subjects as elect.engg, and history or mathematics.
Please guide me shall I go for history or maths.
Please suggest me book list for these subject and compulsory subjects as well.

You can choose EE if you have enough study material and guidance.
My recommendation: You should choose Public Admin as 1st choice and Geography or History or Sociology or Home Science as 2nd choice.

@Girish, a Dy SP/ACP is paid accordign to this pay scale and Grade Pay: Rs.15600-39100, Rs. 5400 + DA and other allowances.

@Nitin, the next MPSC Rajyaseva exam will be on 8th May 2011, PSI exam will be in Jun 2011 and their notifications will come in the month of Dec/Jan. If you are looking for any other MPSC exam, then login to your account at MPSC website and click on the link “Apply Exam/Post” available on the left menu.

sir my name is Shrikant devake and i want to appear for mpsc exam but in my graduation i had failed two times sir can you tell me that if i can get selected because i am studying for mpsc and i am in B.sc final year . and sir i have 3 books for sociology subject are that enough for main exam.

@Shrikant, there is no problem at all. In order to appear at Rajyaseva exam, you need to have Degree certificate so don’t worry at all dear. Start your preparation. No, only 3 books are not sufficient; you should have at least 9-10 books for each optional subject.

@Nakul, yes you have to appear in Prelims again. Both exams and Interview needs to be cleared in one go in the given year. Failing at any of these stages means going through all 3 stages again in next year.
