Please tell me what is the difference between NCERT 8th to 12th standard books and Maharashtra board books.And if we decide to reffer which one of these two should be prefered one.
@Birappa, basic difference is that state board books are more related to Maharashtra. You should match the syllabus with MPSC syllabus and then decide.
now the new syllabus introduced for the mpsc mains exam.but i confused about that in previous syllabus some optional subjects r also available.now from changed a syllabus we cant take any objective paper.

@Sagar, it is easily understandable that the PATTERN has changed and hence the syllabus. No optionals at Main exam. No change as of now for Prelims.

@Indira, you need at least 1 year’s preparation so go for 2013 exam and not for 2012. Instead of repenting failures due to incomplete preparation, it is always good to prepare first and then go for the actual exam.
