Dear Friend
During past 2 years, I have come across many people from students, housewives, software professionals, government officials like PSI, and Talathi, to professionals like Doctors (BDS, BAMS MD, BHMS), Lawyers, Senior Teachers, and many more; some of them have become aspirants of MPSC and sought my guidance. Thank you all for reading my blog and seeking my FREE guidance. I am pretty sure that among the above, there would be many successful aspirants in 2012 exam. Good luck to you and remember me when you are successful.
OK, lets move ahead.
After so much of analysis, I am providing the following plan for the most sought after exam i.e. “MPSC State Services Exam – Rajyaseva).
NOTE: If you want to be successful in 2012 exam, you MUST follow my plan else you will repent later on.
Now you have 2 months in your hand for Prelims 2012 (Dec 2011 and Jan 2012), and next 3 months for Main 2012 (Mid-Feb 2012 to Mid-May 2012), right?
So start your preparation now itself for Prelims.
How will you do it this? Simple, here it is:
From Dec 6, 2011 to Jan 31, 2012, prepare for Prelims 2012.
From Mid-Feb 2012 to Mid-May 2012, prepare for Main exam 2012
During the first 2 months, you should read all books (about 15 – 20). Read extensively and prepare micro-notes on each topic of all sections.
Soon after Prelims is over, take a break for 2 days and go on a picnic, see movies, enjoy with your friends, family and simply enjoy, relieve your tension.
After coming back, do not wait for the result. For the next 3 months (Mid-Feb 2012 to Mid-May 2012), start your preparation for Main exam by reading and revising your notes and solve as many question papers as you can.
This is not everything. There is a lot to do during these 6 months. You will have to make lists of books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers, etc. Then buy relevant books only, plan your study for the next 6 months and study all 60-70 books according to various plans, make your own notes, revision, mock tests, etc. etc. For this, you will need to do very hard work.
Can you do this on your own? No way!!! Then what you can do?
DO NOT join any classes, your money will be a waste. DO NOT spend your precious money on buying ready-made notes. Ready made notes will not help you at all. The examiner will easily come to know that you ahve studied from such notes. So what do you do?

@Vinod, it will be in Dec 2010. But you must register your name on the MPSC’s official website at this location:

If you do not register then you will not be able to apply for MPSC exams.

@Seema, as per norms, your score should be above 330 in order to qualify for Interview.

@Arun, please read the plan of Prelims 2009 as well as all posts on this blog and note down the names of books. Let me know all about you so that I can suggest books for your optional subjects etc.

Now may you please answer my some basic queries (1) As a NRI status can i appear to MPSC Exam? @Amol, you should check the NRI issue with MPSC office. As far as I know, an Indian citizen can apply but there is no explanation about NRI in the MPSC Information Booklet.
There are three stages (Prelims, Main and Interview) for MPSC State Services exam and you need to clear all of them in an year. The new process involves online registration at this location: http://www.mpsconline.gov.in
The notification will appear in all major newspapers in Maharashtra and also on MPSC’s official website.
Yes, you can book the MPSC Success Mantra – The Complete Manual. It needs to be booked in advance and I can post this to you within 15 days within India. If you are outside of India, then there will be postage charges in addition to the cost of the manual.

@Suvarna, you must book it immediately as there is long waiting list. If you book it tomorrow, you will have to wait for 15-20 days. Yes, it is for 2011 and onwards exams.

@Ridhara, please understand that preparation for this exam needs lots of books to be studied; you need to have at least 1 year for this. Take advantage of this period you have and prepare well by studying at least 4 to 6 hours everyday from today and cover every subject well in time. Com Student I have given 9 may MPSC Pre Exam and my score was of 92 with negative marking. and also given 20 June PSI Pre Exam still answer key is not published on the website. what do you think ?? what will be the cut off’s for this PSI Pre ?? as this time 700 post vacant so will cut off come down??
