There will be negative marking of 25% or 1/4th marks to be cut from the incorrect answer for both papers except for Decision Making questions in CSAT paper.

@Kunal, there is no option. During the Interview, questions are asked in Marathi (some English words are also used as we normally do).

@प्रतिक, नॉन-क्रिमी-लेयर साठी जे उत्पन्न गृहीत धरल्या जाते ते आई व वडिलांचे उत्पन्न मिळून असते. तुम्ही तुमच्या लोकल सेतू ऑफिस मधून सुद्धा कन्फर्म करू शकता.
Sir, I have completed B.E. Mechanical in 2015 from Government College of Engineering, Karad, Satara, Maharashtra. We receive eight marklists, each for one semester and degree certificate. Shivaji University doesn’t provide aggregate mark list. Only grade is provided on the degree certificate. I want to know what is the percentage to be entered into MPSC and UPSC application forms.
@Rushikesh, you are required to enter EITHER precentage OR grade, so you can enter the grade that is mentioned in your degree certificate.

@Revati, yes, that is true. Your should choose OBC as well as Open and pay the fees for Open. At the time of Mains, vacancies are expected to be increased (as stated by MPSC in the exam notification).

@धनंजय, प्रत्येक परीक्षेचा निकाल लागतो तेव्हा जितक्या जागा आहेत त्यानुसारच कट-ऑफ लागतो व तितकेच उमेदवार निवडले जातात तर तुम्ही त्या कट-ऑफ मध्ये सर्वात खाली असाल तर त्यानुसार तुम्हाला पोस्ट मिळेल. राज्यसेवा परीक्षेत वर्ग १ व काही २ च्याच जागा असतात.

@विजय, सर्वात आधी समजून घ्यावे कि एस.टी.आय. परीक्षेच्या अभ्यासक्रमाचा व इतर सामान्य ज्ञानाचा (मासिकातून, वर्तमानपत्रातून, इंटरनेटवरून) सखोल अभ्यास करावा लागेल. त्यानंतर एस.टी.आय. परीक्षेत कट ऑफ पेक्षा जास्त गुण मिळवावे लागतील तरच तुमचं सिलेक्शन होईल. त्यासाठी परीक्षेच्या आधी तुम्हाला एक वर्ष अभ्यास करावाच लागेल. पुढील वर्षाच्या परीक्षेची तयारी आजपासूनच सुरु करा. ह्या ब्लॉगवर अनेक आर्टिकल्स आहेत ते वाचून घ्यावेत.

@Jyoti, yes, you should devote at least 5-6 hours everyday. Refer the exam syllabus, read around 30 books, 4 monthly magazines, 2-3 daily newspapers. Prepare your own notes.

@प्राची, दोन्ही ऑप्शन निवडलेत म्हणून “ओपन सर्वसाधारण” ह्या प्रवर्गाच्या कटऑफ पेक्षा जास्त गुण तुम्ही मिळवलेत तर मग ह्याच प्रवर्गातून तुम्हाला कन्सिडर करण्यात येईल. ह्या प्रवर्गात मुली व मुले दोन्ही येतात. समजा तुमच्या वर्गवारीत एखादी जागा नाही आणि “ओपन सर्वसाधारण” गटात ती जागा आहे तर ह्या केसमध्ये तुम्हाला दोन्ही ऑप्शन निवडण्याचा फायदा होईल. जर तुमच्याच प्रवर्गातील (NT-C) कटऑफ मिळालेत तर मग Non-Creamy Layer लागेलच.

@Prathamesh, as per rule, one should apply for MPSC exams only when one is in final year of degree course and is expected to get the result of the final year before the last date of form filling for Main exam. So in your case, you are not eligible for 2017 exam. If you apply for it, you will be wasting/misusing government money.
