Stages of MPSC State Services (Rajyaseva) Exam:
Prelims:
- Paper I – General Studies – 200 marks – 2 Hours duration
- Paper II – CSAT – 200 marks (Min 33% qualifying marks) – 2 Hours duration

There will be negative marking of 25% or 1/4th marks to be cut from the incorrect answer for both papers except for Decision Making questions in CSAT paper.

@Kailas, No reservation as such for Exservicemen in Rajyaseva. Only u get age relaxation of 5 yrs. You should apply for Rajyaseva. Getting a post depends on your final score.

@Priyanka, you can go for all the exams conducetd by MPSC (Rajyaseva< STI, PSI, Asst). Being a working person, give at least 400-450 days for the exam preparation (everyday 3-4 or 4-5 hrs). Read all the success mantras available at the bottom of this page. If you need personal guidance and study material etc, refer "Courses" menu.

@Kiran, there are 4 different exams conducted by MPSC (Rajyaseva – Dy Colletcor, DYSP/ACP, Tehsildar etc.), PSI, STI and Asst. Refer the exam syllabus, compare it and then decide which exam you wish to go for.

I have cleared the mains and am in TYBA. The mains exam will be at the end of the month of may. However, I read in the notification released on the MPSC website that candidates will have need to have passed their final year examination. Our University exam schedule is till 7th may and it takes minimum 40 days for the results to come out. Will I be eligible to appear for the mains?
@Pooja, in any case, if the last date of form-filling for RS Mains is before your final result then you are NOT eligible.

I Akshata Ashok Borode ,have filled a online application on MPSC website form dated on 1st of october 2013. for the post of
Deputy education officer and equivalent posts maharashtra education services group B.
my issue is that i am not able to update the transaction id i have paid the fees through State Bank of India on 3rd of october 2013 and the status appearing is paid. please help me with the steps to update the transaction id.

@Amar, you need to serve on various posts during your probation period and after that period + 2-3 years of service, you may be appointed as Dy Collector. After successful stint as Dy Collector, you may get a chance to become IAS (based on your performance and recommendations).
