Stages of MPSC State Services (Rajyaseva) Exam:
Prelims:
- Paper I – General Studies – 200 marks – 2 Hours duration
- Paper II – CSAT – 200 marks (Min 33% qualifying marks) – 2 Hours duration

There will be negative marking of 25% or 1/4th marks to be cut from the incorrect answer for both papers except for Decision Making questions in CSAT paper.

sir , number of posts are fixed or changes every year ? actually i did’t get result of Deputy collector and DDR posts on official site of MPSC . but i got results for DYSP.

@Salman, yes but one should know how to read, write and speak Marathi. Posts are allotted based on your final score, available vacancies for the posts, and your preference.

I have some queries before that, my dob is 5 feb 1986, BE(computer) and currently working in MNC company as SAP Technical consultant from past 1 ½ year.
I want to appear for exam MPSC rajyaseva. As per my knowledge, frankly I would say it zero, so I thought that I should appear for the exam for 2013. and I spend my time in office around 9-10 h per day.
so what should actual time must b sped to study as per 2013 exam and how to overcome on weak subject(like history, politics,English).

@Rohit, it does play a major role but its not everything. There are so many candidates with 90+% in academics but they fail to impress the Interview Board so they don’t make it to the final list. Don’t worry about it.

@Suhas, according to GR by Maharashtra Govt, MSCIT is required for all jobs in Maharashtra Govt so please confirm this from MPSC Office. However, there are certain exemptions. We will upload the GRs soon on this blog (a sub-menu “MS-CIT” under “Other” menu).

@Sagar, both posts are same. If posted in a Metro city then your posting will be as ACP and if posted in Non-Metro city then it is Dy SP. Exam is same for both posts (MPSC Rajyaseva).

@Niraj, there is nothing to be scared of with regard to MPSC exams. All you have to do is plan n prepare very well for the exam. I do not have to say anything more as you already have enough experience (CA, etc). Yes, you can prepare and give the exam in English. As far as I can suggest, your main aim is to clear the exam so choose simple subjects like Public Admin and History or Geography or Psychology, etc.
