@Nisha, yes, you can still fulfill your wish at this age :). For Open category max age limit is 33 yrs and for reserved categories it is 38 yrs. You can prepare in English. Exam papers are in both languages i.e. Marathi and English. My manual is written in simple Marathi and since it is a guidance manual, you can understand it very easily.

@Ram, PSI – Open category – 28 yrs/ Reserved categories – 31 yrs. You can also try for DySP/ACP through MPSC Rajyaseva for which age limit is 33 and 38 yrs for Open and Reserved categories, respectively.

@केतकी, खाली दहा सक्सेस मंत्र दिलेत, ते वाचावेत. ह्या परीक्षेचा अभ्यासक्रम बघावा आणि मग त्यानुसार जास्तीत जास्त पुस्तके, मासिके, वर्तमानपत्रे वाचायला सुरुवात करून मग स्वत:चे नोट्स काढावेत. वेळोवेळी रिविजन करायला विसरू नका. दर आठवड्याला/महिन्याला सराव परीक्षा द्या. पुस्तकांच्या लिस्ट साठी फ्री ई-प्रोस्पेक्ट्स बघावे.

@Ram, yes, but it entirely depends on what you do in those hours 🙂 You have to create a written plan for next one year and then execute it so well that you cover each and every topic of the syllabus (Pre and Mains).

I am one of the aspirant or the state services and also excited to ask the same questions. I am English Subject Teacher in a reputed public school. I am getting handsome package here like as class one officer. but still there is spur in my heart about PSC which I had left in 2010.I cracked PSC Prelim, main and attended interview at Dholpur House, Delhi but as we know man purposes and god disposes i was on waiting list. my number was 4.I was asked by the commission to wait for six months if any leaves the job but vain……… . i such frustration i left the study and joined school.Now again the same seed has sprouted to get he same. I am 31 year old and want to seize the opportunity of 2016. Can it be done? seeking your benign suggestion.

@Kishor, anything can be done/achieved with sheer smart work (hard work is not enough). If you plan and execute it very well then you CAN DO it. Just start with new vigour and zeal, you will achieve your goal. However, there is no shortcut. You have to take the toughest and time-taking path of in-depth preparation. @Prasad, it is a guidance manual and not study material. You need to refer/read around 70 books in order to clear MPSC Rajyaseva exam. This is my recommendation, however, it depends on you how many books you read.
