As per age relaxation i.e 33 + 5 = 38 So, that I am eligible for MPSC Exam
But In Asst vacancies i did not fill the application because
there is no option for “Gernaral Reservation”.
I e- mail for MPSC but they give me reply There is option.

I have completed 30 yrs and I have not attempted MPSC before.I have completed my MBA & I am a working professional in private sector and now have decided to concentrate for MPSC or which ever govt exams I am eligible to.How should I start preparing for the exam.Also apart from MPSC which Exams I am eligible to appear as I belong to open category.
@Gurunath, you should refer exam syllabus and then prepare a written study plan. Start with basic books (6th to 12th standard), prepare your own Notes. If you plan to go for MPSC State Services (Rajyaseva), remember to complete preparation of Main Exam first and when Prelims is 3 months ahead, start for it.

@Pradnya, you should prepare for MPSC State Services (Rajyaseva) exam. Yes, one can get to the IAS cadre after certain period serving as Dy Collector. Yes, number of vacancies are mentioned in the exam notification.

I have started to study competetive exams but I myself not feeling confident about books/study material which I have gatthered for the study of competetive exams. I am preparing MPSC for 2014 now I would like to brief my study material what I gatthered NCERT books from your January blog , for Reasoning and Quantitative apptitude R S Agrwal books, and Monthly magzines from this material I am preparing, although I understood from you current months blog MPSC study should followed with Mains study, Prelim and again Mains on the self notes and then Interview and so On. But as, Main paper has general paper I,II,III,and IV so request you to please guide me how and from where I should study these paper and what more books which I should start to read. I know this is very vast syllabus to study and I have very less time to study for 24X7 as I mentioned I am working although I want to achieve your as well as my sucess mantra and for that somehow I would need you guidance and help on study. As you mnetioned Disadvantages of lecture and readymade note so, I agree with you but as you said this very vast study which books should be read before exams for perfect preparation.

@गोविंद, obc catogary चा फायदा म्हणजे तुम्ही एस.टी.आय.(वर्ग २), सहाय्यक (वर्ग २), व राज्यसेवा (वर्ग १ व २) ह्या परीक्षा वयाच्या ३८ वर्षापर्यंत देता येतील आणि जर तुम्ही एकस-सर्विसमन झालात तर अजून ५ वर्षे वाढतील म्हणजे वयाच्या ४३ वर्षापर्यंत ह्या परीक्षा देवू शकाल. आता तुम्ही आर्मी मध्ये आहात तर तुम्हाला अभ्यासासाठी जास्त वेळ मिळत नसेल म्हणून लगेच ह्या परीक्शेंसाठी तयारीला सुरुवात करावी आणि सर्व अभ्यासक्रम व्यवस्थितपणे पूर्ण करावा. पी.जी.पी. जॉईन करून तुम्ही तो एका वर्षात पूर्ण करावा आणि मग फक्त रिविजन करत रहावी म्हणजे तुमची तयारी सर्वोत्तम होईल आणि पहिल्या प्रयत्नातच सफल व्हाल.

@Swapnil, about History part, there might be 5 questions on Ancient India and 2 to 5 questions on Medieval India. Your main focus should be on Modern India and Indian National Movement.
