I m enginneering final year student and i want to do my carrior in MPSE(RAJYASEVE), For the post of Dy Collector or Tahsildar or any other (class 1). Sir right now i hv one software company job in my hand and for that joining date is july2013. I need to do this job atleast for 1 year bcoz i do not have enough money for future education. is it possible to prepair mpse along with my job. And one more thing sir which exams of MPSE having phisical fitness crireria bcoz my height is 160 cm . And is it neccesorry to join classes for preparation?..plz guide me for all this questions….
@Anush, yes, you can. Join your company and then prepare for 2014 exam. Except Police/Excise department posts (Dy SP/ACP/Asst STC/PSI), you are eligible for all posts. You may join our PGP because you need guidance for the preparation. You can complete it while doing a job.

@Rahul, at this moment, UPSC Mains has optional subjects with descriptive papers however MPSC Rajyaseva Mains doesn’t have optionals and has objective papers.

@Bapurao, for PSI, you are overage. For Asst and STI, your age must not be 38 yrs (ESM) on 1st July 2013 and 1st Aug 2013, respectively. But if you are in category (like SC/ST/OBC/NT/DT) then 43 yrs (ESM + Category) on 1st July 2013 and 1st Aug 2013.

@Prasad, you should prepare according to the syllabus. Buy books (about 50 to 60) and then plan your studies accordingly. Prepare Notes, solve mock tests.

This is Yogesh Shinde. I completed my Computer engineering(B.E.) in May-June2012. I also got the job, but my date of join is late in Feb2013. I want to give UPSC or/and MPSC examinations. But I want to make career in engineering field, so in MPSC(Engineering Examination Services), is there any field in engineering services which is related to computer engineering? Please remember, there is a compulsory Marathi paper in Main exam so if you can’t read n understand the basic Marathi then you won’t be able to clear the exam.
