@Chhaya, yes, you should plan it well in advance, say at least one year before the Rajyaseva Prelims.

@Yogesh, If your father’s income is Rs.60K per year then yes. You are eligible. NCL is issued based on your father’s income.

@Vinay, your age must not be 38 yrs as on 1st Apr 2018, then only you can apply.

@Kiran, your father and mother’s average income for the last 3 years must not be above 8 lacs. The limit has been raised from 6 lacs to 8 lacs recently so please contact SETU office for clarifying this issue.
respected sir is it necessary to have domicile certificate for open category female to avail benefit of female reservation ?
@Gauri, yes, you should have both certificates, i.e. Domicile and Non-Creamy-Layer (for Open female reservation). Please remember this NCL is different from other NCL meant for reserved categories. Please refer the “General Instructions to Candidates” PDF for the format of this NCL certificate.
1)Sir for mpsc state service is necessary to read every books or is sufficient to read only maharashtra state board books ,
2)can I read ncert books which is written in marathi such as unique academy or K sagar publication , is sufficient for exam
@Shivkumar, other than those NCERT-based books, you must read other books (according to the syllabus).
sir I m in OBC caste but I never mentioned there as OBC .I mentioned there as OPEN category but later sub cast mention as KUNBI I fill up from throughout in open because I have no cast certificate can MPSC ask caste certificate at the time of joining
@Krishna, while submitting your application, select Yes for “Open” option and No for “Reserved” option, if it appears.

My Father is a govt. employee. His annual income is less than 6lakh and my brother is in private sector with the package of 8 lakh. Am I eligible for non-creamy layer certificate for the Open Female category?
@Aruna, your father’s income certificate is considered for NCL so no worries. You are eligible for Open Female category.
Sir,
I forgot to mention that My father also gets a pension from the army. So including both, Basic salary structure, then income is less than 8lakh. But if it is considered complete income then it is more than 8 lakh. That’s why I got confused.
Hence, I submitted an application with the option NO for the Qns DO YOU BELONG TO Non-creamy Layer? If I did it wrong, can I cancel and re-fill the application to correct/edit this with option YES?
@Aruna, only taxable income is considered for calculation of NCL. You can cancel the application after paying the fees. Correct your profile by choosing Yes for NCL and then reapply and pay the fees again..

Sir, I am from SBC category. But the problem is my sub cast. On my leaving certificate my sub cast is ” tokare koli” and my sub cast on my caste certificate is ” survanshi koli”. As per the leaving certificate of my father his sub caste is ” suryavanshi koli”
On my mpsc profile I have put my sub cast as ” tokare koli”. So is this correct ?

Hello sir. I want to appear for Rajyaseva 2018 prelims and I belong to NT(B) category. As my father’s income was more than 6 lakhs, I was not considered eligible for reservation. But as per the new GR, the limit has been increased to 8 lakhs. I tried to apply for NCL certificate, but they said, this GR is still not implemented. And as per the rules, If I am eligible for NCL, I will have to submit it when asked for it, and if not I will have to prove that I don’t belong to NCL. What should I fill in the exam form in this scenario??
@Dhanashree, it is implemented from 1st Sep 2017 vide GR#201712161510425022 dated 16 Dec 2017. You can find a copy of this GR on the Govt of Mah website. You should mention “NCL” in the profile.

@Suraj, if that university is in the list of approved universities on MPSC website/online application system database then you can apply for MPSC exams. Please refer the “General Instructions to Candidates” PDF available on MPSC website for list of documents needed. You are required to submit them at the time of Interview and NOT at the time of applying for MPSC exam.

@Anuradha, you should refer the syllabus of UPSC as well as MPSC. After that have a careful look at the question papers of 2017 (Prelims and Mains). Examine them. UPSC Main exam is descriptive and MPSC Rajyaseva Mains is objective (1 paper of English & Marathi is descriptive). Now, take a decision yourself and then start with a well-written plan of action (to complete the entire syllabus in next 450 days) and execute the plan. Prepare your own Notes. Attempt lots of questions before you take up the actual exam. You may consider joining our PGP. More details are available under “Courses” menu.

@Rajesh, you need to clear STI Prelims and STI Main exam and get a place in the merit list, according to your category. There is no interview for STI post.

Do we require to submit Cast Validity certificate at the time of interview or we have can submit after that too as mpsc site have checkbox for castvalidity in profile page.
@Dnyaneshwar, if you have check-marked the option in your profile then you have to submit it at the time of Interview/document verification stage else there is no need. As far as I know, when someone doesn’t have the Cast Validity Certificate, the process takes place through the government department for validity of the cast certificate after the candidate is selected and joins the post/department. There is also an option to get the CVC after you are selected for a post/service.
