@Jyoti, for UPSC, as SC candidate, your last chance would be in 2019.
Sir I belong to obc category and so I applied to state services pre from obc cat. But there was option to apply from both open and obc cat. Now I feel somewhere I have made a mistake by applying only from obc cat. Sir please tell how it will affect my post choice and selection.

@Avinash, you will be considered only for the posts meant for OBC. You should (at the time of Preference form filling process) choose/mention only such posts meant for OBC.

@Prasad, it’s incorrect. Any graduate (in any stream) can apply for MPSC exams.

@SUraj, if that university is UGC approved then you can apply for MPSC/UPSC exams. The list of such universities is available on MPSC/UPSC websites. You can check there.

@Shruti, why dont you go for MPSC State Services (Rajyaseva), STI (Class II), Asst Section Officer (Class II) and UPSC Civil Services exam?

@DrDJ, No optional subject for MPSC State Services Mains. You can start from August by devoting 8-10 hrs everyday.

@Gouri, DO NOT waste government money just for the sake of a trial at the exam (you can do it by solving previous year’s question papers). Start your preparation for the exam ( you will need 450 days to complete it) and then go for the real attempt.

Sir i have one question if anyone selected for sale tax inspector or assistant in mantralaya in maharashtra then if he want to give exam of upsc then Maharashtra government approve or permission for that employee to give exam of upsc because Maharashtra government bond process are their so respective department approve his permission to appear for upsc exam????
@Aayush, everyone has the right to try for improvement in career and after selection through MPSC, if you get selected for a government job through UPSC then you are not liable to pay the bond amount. It is clearly mentioned therein.

@Manisha, it is Group A (Class I posts like Deputy Collector, DySP/ACP,Tehsildar, etc), Group B (Section Officer,BDO, NAib Tehsildar, PSI/STI/Asst), Group C and Group D. There are only Group A & B (except PSI/STI/Asst)posts under Rajyaseva.

I got 155 marks in both papers. As per Sirs cutoff its par score.
I gave 2 mains 2012 and 2015 of Mpsc and 2 of 2014 2013 upsc.In last year exam i had 114 but sbc cutoff was 106 . When calculated score I thought i will not clear so not studied and concentrated on upsc . In upsc i scored 125 in GS and was confident that I will clear. But reverse happened MPSC cleared and not upsc. Post result started studying . MPSC mains result missed cutoff by 3 marks for interview.
But I was very much surprised to see just 45 marks in English as I wrote accurate grammar and my writing is good . But in marathi all the grammar was wrong but then also they gave me 57 marks.
Some candidates got 70-75 marks in english and why my score is such low ?
Can anybody know procedure to get xerox of my paper from MPSC .Please help

@Swapnil, BA from YCMOU is sufficient. After BA, you may go for MA.
