First of all thank you sir for replying me but I hvnt cleared my doubt yet what should I hv to focus for sti pre exam I want to clear that anyhow I will do my best so I hv to firstly best strategy for the exam so what is expected cut off for sti pre and mains for gen 2016 I know its depends on difficulty lvl still overall, it will be g8 help.
@Anupama, its just impossible to tell you cut offs before the exam takes place. Cut off prediction depends on lots of things like, number of candidates appeared, level of questions, performance of candidates, etc. However, you need to join our PGP for sheer personal guidance that includes study material, study plans, tests, etc.

@Harshwardhan, The degree is recognised only after the screening test conducted by MCI then only the degree holder can apply for any of the UPSC exams.
Anil sir, I tried all my options of filling the forest services form. But I am not able to do it.
Can you help me in some way? I used the following options:
I was having problem filling the MPSC forest services form. It is showing
error saying “YOU DONT ENOUGH QUALIFICATION CRITERIA”. So I
called MPSC office on 022-22670210. I was transferred to summary
department in MPSC & then IT department & then again the summary department.
They said to me that even though you have a science degree in
Biotechnology still as it is not mentioned in the Advertisement, you can’t
fill the form. We have received a number of complaints & hence we
are in letter corrospondence with the government of maharashtra about
the matter & we will try to resolve the problem soon.
So I hung up the call & again called them today.
Again i was transferred from summary department to IT department &
then again summary department.
They said, “Reply to our letter corrospondence with government has come.
We have been told that there will be no changes & we are instructed to
carry out the exam with the said rules & regulations.”
So asked him, “Give me the number of person you talked to.”
He gave me the number of Secretary, Forest Department.
I called them on 022-22813623. I talked to somone named Mr. Surwe.
According to the telephonic talk, it seemed he was incharge there. I told
him my problem that I have a science degree in biotechnology & passed my graduation
with Maths as a subject still I am not able to fill the form. I was surprised to hear this reply.
He said, “Actually our forest department needs students like you who have passed
in some science degree which is related to forest life like plants or animals.
Your biotechnology degree is more than enough for this job. But rules are rules.
I can’t change them. No student other than you has called our office regarding this problem.
So it seems that only you have problem otherwise other people whould have called our office.
It is a small problem & I have other things to worry about. Also my own
children are not able to fill that forest form. But I can’t help in this. Please
dont argue & accept these rules.”
I was surprised to know that even though the forest department was
interested to accept students of biotechnology for their post then why
exactly MPSC is not allowing me to fill the form. I wonder who has framed
these rules.
I feel like cheated by MPSC considering that I have a degree which
actually matters to forest department & biotechnology is connected to forests more than
any graduate degree & still I am not allowed to fill the form
just because of some stupid advertisement which forgot to mention
that even biotechnology degree is eligible for forest serivces post.
I think if more aspirants/students call this forest department then
they will take this problem seriously.

This ad does mention and allows BE computer candidates to fill up the form. But the moment I try to apply, it tells me educational criteria doesn’t meet…

Graduation in B.E. EXTC still the same problem…you dont have enough qualification criteria … pathetic!!!
I m also graduate from BE EXTC. And I gave pre last year n cleared..but this time to fill form same problem here
I am Instrumentation Engineering graduate. I have given last forest mains. But due to these rules I am not qualified for this exam.
I have given complaint Application to Revenue and Forest Dept of Mantralaya on last Tuesday. And personally conversation with their officials I think they will resolve this matter soon……Hope this has to be happen..

I have qualified for State services interviews but now I m working for a nationalised bank since july 2014, the information about this is not updated in my profile so what should I do while attending interview. Should I disclose the information now and update my profile or i should keep it a secret while attending interviews.

@Pramod, everything should be intimated to MPSC. If you get selected, what would you do if the bank doesn’t relieve you? Never hide anything from MPSC/UPSC. They will come to know even if you do not tell them. There is a high risk of getting black listed if you hide anything.
I am desirious to go for mpsc exams in sports quota. I have
appeared for state level volleyball (runnerup) matches and inter
university (zonal) matches , but not yet sure whether I m eligible
with these certificates to be accounted for this quota.

If i select Marathi is medium for UPSC CS Main and Optional subject Mathematics then is a upsc give me permission to write Optional paper in english without changing medium of cs main exam (because i have completed my graduation in math specialization , it in english only from 12th and also it is impossible to write mathematics paper of cs main in any other language without English.)
I am very confused about this issue Please give me proper solution immidiately.

@Vishwas, long back UPSC had allowed this for some optional subjects but not now. You can take a look at the Maths optional subject’s question paper for 2014. It is clearly mentioned therein that you must write the answers in the medium specified on your Hall Ticket/Admit Card.

Sir, I have qualified for MPSC STATE SERVICES EXAM, 2015 Interview. However when I login into my account to fill the post preferences, nothing is coming. It is showing blank. In MPSC notification it is mentioned that post preferences should be filled within 7 days of Mains result. How should I proceed? Please guide.

I got my degree certificate from Mumbai uni,but that one is faulty so I applied for correction .but university says it will required 4/5 months to correct so mean time if degree certificate required by mpsc(for degree qualification) then what should I do???
