Sir, Congrats for completion of 4yrs,My question is I am confused to start study for STI /ASST or Rajyaseva which one is preferred to start study first. I think STI/ASST is my first choice then turn to Rajyaseva. pls suggest me.

@Ajeet, it is a rule that your final result should be declared by the last date of form filling for Mains (probably in last week of Oct 2014).

@Prashant, sometimes Interviews are cancelled for STI/Asst but Interview is an integral part of MPSC exams.

Pun jar me after graduation kahi pudhil shikshan ghet asen eg Law llb, tar majhe OCs tya institute madhe submit astat. Ashaveli inetrview sathi kase OCs saadar karnar ani new course che pan certificates nahi anu shakat karan toh ajun chalu ahe.

@Geetanjali, you should refer the exam syllabus and prepare accordingly. Since I do not monitor that exam, am unable to assist you in this matter.

after percentile system applied , hw will it affect on our result on merit ? Cuz u stop predicting cut off due to percentile !
@Abhay, cut off is calculated based on the performance of candidates and I have no way to find out what score would be the highest and it keeps changing every year/exam. If highest score in a Main exam is very high then next time it could be very low and based on that score cut offs are calculated.

Sir as percentile system is for interview only and for assistant there is no interview you can predict cut off score ….

@प्रफुल्ल, उंची मोजतांना काहीही होवू शकते, जास्त किंवा कमी मोजल्या जावू शकते (due to human error).
hello sir. I am pursuing my degree in law. I am in third year and have more 2 years to get graduated. I am willing to do MPSC but almost all the classes teach in marathi and very less matter is available in english. Can I use the UPSC reference books to study for MPSC? And is the book “MPSC Success Mantra” useful for knowing about this exam? And if I purchase it than in how many days I will receive the copy? Please guide me Sir.
@Pratiksha, yes, you can refer such books (refer strictly according to the MPSC syllabus). You would get it by 15th Mar 2014.
My score is 164…and if ambigious Question get cancelled it would be around 169…preparing for UPSC……sir im working in banglore and not in touch with marathi and english sub since 10 th std. As u suggested go for GS sub until final answer key issued im going by that stratergy only. How much time it will take for these language sub to cover for mains.
@Dnyaneshwar, it depends on how much you devote for these 2 languages but 15 days would be more than sufficient.
