सर, तुमचा current affair चा लेख मी वाचला त्यात तुम्ही खूप मह्तावाचे मुद्दे सांगितले आहे. त्यात तुम्ही सांगितले आहे कि दरोरोज वर्तमान पत्रातून नोटस लिहून काढाव्यात. पण मला अस विचारयाचे आहे कि मी “ई वर्तमान पत्र” वाचतो त्यातल्या screen shoots काढून ठेवल्यास आणि परीक्षेचा वेळी वाचल्यास तर चालतील का? कि hand नोटस च काढाव्यात. कृपया मला सांगावे.

Sir, since last 2 yrs, I have noticed, ur expected cut-offs r getting so accurate. Last yr u hav given 160-180.. It stayed at 177 ! For adv 2012, i still remember, ur expected cut-off was 100-110. It settled down at 103 ! We hope d same for this RS 14!!

Is there any way we can request MPSC to think about the time limit for CSAT Paper-2 ?? I had to leave some questions only because of lack of time..many candidates faced same problem.Students are not against difficulty level,but at least MPSC should increase the time limit for such papers.Same happened with many candidates in Asst,STI Pre,PSI Mains….que were so lengthy that its impossible for human being to complete the paper in hour or two.
@Dr. Rahul, yes, of course, a group of candidates should visit MPSC with a representation about this.

@ Rahul I am Dr.Praful ,MPSC in trying to compete with UPSC setting paper disproportionate to time, so most of the student have to leave questions unattempted, again mpsc will cancel the questions on which we invested time in exam ( suppose they cancel the ques. on comprehension the students who couldn’t solve due to time will be benefited as they invested time in other quests. like reasoning and who solve comprehension will be at disadvantage as ques are cancelled and other qustns. are unattempted, so finally total marks will be lesser as less no. is attempted and vice -versa),as exam is time limited most of the candidate will be at loss, so if there is a group of candidate we can take representation to MPSC or else can file a case in HC,contact me on e-mail id pra261@ymail.com

but they said 1/3 means 1 mark for 3 wrong answers deduct? 0.33 marks will cut for 1wrong answer not 0.33%.

@Rutuja, for every 3 wrong answers, marks allotted to a question i.e. 2 marks will be cut for Paper I and 2.5 for Paper II.

Paper -1 madhe maze right answer 30 ani wrong answer 40 aahe..mag nagative mark 40 X 0.66 kau ka kiva 40 x 0.33
@Poonam, for wrong answers it is 0.33% (0.66 marks) so 40 x 0.66 = 26.4 would be cut from your score 60 (30 x 2 = 60). Your final score would be (Paper I) – 33.6 Marks.

R/sir,as per todays loksatta (mumbai) answers of 17 question r wrong/suspected..which makes about 40 mark differens….in such case what Will happen

@Anuvaish, you will have to clear the compulsory Marathi paper at PSI Mains. You can prepare and attempt the exams in English.

@Nagesh, your 1st priority should be “concentration of the exam at hand”. I have not yet calculated the cut offs. May be tomorrow I will do that but you must not waste precious time in figuring our cut offs, start preparation for Mains.

I am software engineer working in IT company , I have bright future in IT but I am intrested in MPSC exam , I am responsible person in my family so I really need to do job , since last 3 year I am preparing for MPSC most of times I was fail in pre exam within few marks , I am not joining any private classes , My birth date is 1986 so plz let me know how much I am comfortable for MPSC exam and wich option I can choose for career IT or MPSC ?.
@Prakash, choosing a career option should be your own decision. As you have already spent 3 precious years, don’t you think you need proper professional guidance? Consider joining our PGP that can be more beneficial to you. We do not conduct classes as we do not believe in it. All details are available under “Courses” menu. Just have a look at it.

@Tushar, you must develop a habit of solving passages through out the year. Read newspapers and ask your friends to frame questions on them. Choose any good book on Comprehension or CSAT from a books store.
Sir..i hv one doubt about negative marking….we hv to deduct by 0.66 in paper 1 n 0.88 in paper 2..am i right…??……some says its by o.33….

respected sir,i think once again you will be proved right…its hard to see cutoff pass 180(max) after seeing the answer key…imo atleast 5 questions of paper 2 have wrong answers in answer key…still i think cutoff wont pass 180….
