I read your article No pain,No gain..its very nice & inspiring…Many are ready to go through these steps…..But I guess MPSC has decided to kill students’ moral by setting lengthy papers…PSI mains paper-2 was too lengthy(48 pages papers)…difficulty level was also quite high…its almost impossible to read,think & answer such descriptive questions in just 60 mins of time…I personally have no objection about difficulty level,but I think MPSC should increase time limit by 30 mins for such lengthy papers.
@Dr Rahul, yes, I do agree with you. What I feel is that MPSC has increased the difficulty level with RS Mains 2012 exam and the people involved with setting up question papers are NOT well-versed with such level. They need to think before they set up the paper or frame questions. The number of sentences/words need to be reduced in each question to reduce the time required to solve the question(s). If NOT then they must consider increasing time-limit for the question paper(s). I think MPSC people have learned a lesson or will do so from 2014 exam. Let’s hope for the best.

@Shraddha, no limit on attempts. One can give the exam till the max age limit of 33 yrs (Open) and 38 yrs (OBC).

@Arjun, the impairment should be 40% minimum so get a certificate from Civil Surgeon and ONLY the claim the category.

I’ve started study for Bank exam from last few months ..Now I want to prepare for STI also .I’ve completed my graduation in computer ( BCA).. please let me know How I can start study with which subject and what kind of books( names) I have to refer.
as of now , I’m investing minimum 3 hrs daily for Study for Bank exam( as I’m working with IT company so can invest only 3-4 hrs daily and can study full day Saturday and sunday ) Would like to how many hrs I have to invest for STI preparation daily.
@Sandeep, you should refer the syllabus of STI exam (Pre + Mains) and get maximum books, say 30 and start indepth study (3-4 hrs everyday) for 1 year. Prepare your own Notes. sir i am very much tensed and disappointed coz i wanted to appear for mpsc exams this year and i came to know i have a thyroid problem on a boder line so i m very tensed and upset plz sir can u help me to know weather i will be eligible for the post of dy sp coz i am interested in police services and i would be very much glad if u too let me know other physical test details criteria ie… height chest etc
@Hussain, do not get tensed. Simply visit your Civil Surgeon (available in District Hospital) and get yourself examined for the eligibility. Minimum height for Police department posts is 165cms (without shoes/chappals), Chest – 79cms (84cms expanded). Expansion 5 cms.

am postgraduate student (MD) @ sasoon Hospital,pune.also served as MEDICAL OFFICER @ sub-district hospital.as per my knowledge,thyroid (may be hyper or hypo) is not considerd as medical problem or disqualifying criteria for various posts b’cz simple treatment (medical & surgical) is available for it.

Sir, I am a semi- govt employee. while filling form for mpsc I did not mentioned my 2 year experience of job. If I called for interview and produce NOC from my office at that time, will it create any problem or I disquilified for suppressing Information. plz help me Sir.
@Anil, yes, it may create a problem for you. I am not sure what action they will take. You should inform MPSC right now through a written application giving all details and saying that you forgot to mention it.

sir, please conduct survey of state services main exam2013.As u conducted for pre exam.percentile system will not matter, it’s student friendly.by the survey at least we would come to know average marks of students.

dear sir, like upsc exam candidates getting final selection their training starts after 3 months i.e. upsc conducts proper training calendar. But there is a doubt about mpsc exam i have heard from someone that after getting selected for DCA,ACP,etc. training schedule is unpredictable i.e it has to wait for 0.5-1-2 years for getting a final call for selected candidate…..pls clarify sir if i am wrong of this news…..so that i can fully concentrate on upsc exam…….
@Ankit, well friend, am not the right person to comment on this issue. However, you should take into consideration the various things that the verification process takes time, training centre availability, etc. What I suggest all of you is that concentrate on your preparation and allow the administrative process to take its own course of actions.
