@अश्विनी, अभ्यासक्रमानुसार ४ ते ५ पुस्तके घ्या आणि मग २०१३ चा c-sat पेपर बघा. अभ्यासक्रम व त्यावर आलेला प्रत्येक प्रश्न समजून घ्या आणि मग त्यानुसार त्या पुस्तकातून तयारी करा. लक्षात ठेवा कि जो पर्यंत तुम्ही जास्तीत जास्त सराव करत नाही तो पर्यंत काही फायदा होणार नाही, ओके?

@भाग्यश्री, नाही कारण तुमचा रिझल्ट मुख्य परीक्षेचा अर्ज भरण्याच्या शेवटच्या तारखेपर्यंत येणार नाही. त्याची जाहिरात आली कि ती वाचून घ्या आणि मग ठरवा काय ते. जर भरू शकत नसाल तर कृपया भरू नका नाही तर एमपीएससी द्वारे तुमचे नाव “काळ्या यादीत” टाकल्या जावू शकेल.

@Amol, it may not affect you. However, ask MPSC to correct the name in your profile. Send them a request via email (send a scanned copy of your SSC certificate).

I wish to know the expected cut off of Rajyaseva Mains of 2013 without percentile ……As the question paper was bit unexpected of kind …so I’m very confused about cut off….and I guess many questions were out of syllabus ….

@Nikita, no use of it now since percentile system is effective from 2013 itself. I am very busy till 15th Nov so can’t do the calculation right now and will not be able to do it later on too as it would be waste of my precious time. Concentrate on Interview preparation. Good luck.

Sir I have cleared PSI prelim but I just realised that my name appears as dsouza fabio dsouza .. There is a mistake in my name. I tried updating my profile but I can’t change my name. My name in my SSC board certificate appears as dsouza fabio Martin . Will I be disqualified further if I clear all levels? Should I visit mpsc office at Mumbai fort? Pls help .. Too stressed!
@Fabio, this is utter negligence on your part. When you received the Hall Ticket, why didn’t you READ the instructions mentioned therein? It is clearly mentioned there that if there is any discrepancy/error, you should inform MPSC within 8 days after the exam is over (via email). NOW, go to the MPSC Mazgaon office and get it checked/corrected.
Sorry sir am feeling horrible about it. I ll go to mazgoan office! But what if it doesn’t work out!
Wanted to just ask you that I have applied for STI exam and am sure my name would come as dsouza fabio dsouza so in that case can I report! I am very sorry sir I know how much angry u must be getting as my parents are equally angry too! Just let me know sir if it doesn’t work out at mazgoan office then can I inform mpsc about the discrepancy within 8 days of the receipt of STI hall ticket? Thank u sir! Probably my questions are dumb but I am too tensed.
@Fabio, just relax. Am not angry at all. All I want is that every MPSC/UPSC aspirant should be more careful about everything related to the exams. Go and request them to correct it and I know they will do the needful. Carry with you a written application to change the name along with SSC certificate + 1 xerox copy of the certificate and your application (to get their signature – as an acknowledgement). Don’t wait for STI HT, get your name corrected tomorrow itself.

Sir somedays back on one news channel I heard only 14000 students appeared for PSI prelims(& thats the reason merit went so low) ?? Is it true ?? Also what will be the probable new date for PSI Mains?
@Dr. Rahul, I don’t think so. There must have been more than 1.5 lacs. Due to the difficult question level the merit may have gone down. As far as I know, UPSC Mains is from 1st to 5th Dec 2013 and MPSC PSI Mains is on 8th Dec 2013 so it may be held on this day itself.

@Nikita, it’s a genuine question. Many people ignore this serious issue. It is not compulsory to read every page of every book. refer the syllabus and read only the concerned pages. You should be able to read a full-page in 3 minutes, max. Make a second reading in 3 minutes again and then third reading in 2 minutes (of the same page), mark or underline main keywords/points. Soon after that, write your Notes.

@Mahesh, yes, in this situation anybody’s guess would have gone wrong. Such a low cut-off? That is the reason mPSC is implementing Percentile system.
