मला पोलिस सेवेत येण्याची इच्छा आहे.त्यासाठी लागणार्या शारिरीक अटीँमध्ये मि पाञ आहे पण,माझा जन्म हा ग्रामिण भागात झाल्यामुळे ग्रामिण भागातील काही जुन्या पद्धतीमुळे माझ्या लहानपणी पोटावर एक डाग(गरम चटका)दिला होता. त्याचा व्रण आजही माझ्या पोटावर आहे.तर मला अशी चिंता वाटते की, त्या जखमेमुळे मला संबधित पोलिस खात्यात येण्यात काही अडचणी येतील काय?
याबाबत मला मार्गदर्शन करा.

this time,pattern changed for language papers. And the toughness was high for paper 2 . What wil be the range of marks is safe 80 or more

@Yusuf, since exam is in April, the age is calculated as on 1st Jul so you have only 1 chance so prepare full-time from TODAY.

what is percentile system

i am confused regarding this percentile system, is it 35% of highest scorers marks in a paper that is required to clear the paper ,or we need to keep our marks above 35% of the candidates so as to clear minimum cutoff for interview. also sir how much marks will be required in marathi and english to clear this cutoff.

@Sanku, No. But if they have domicile certificate of Maharashtra then only they can.

@Bittu, its OK, there are strict rules regarding circling of Set Code (A, B, C, D) and if someone fails to do this then NO MARKS are allotted to him/her but they have not mentioned such rule about exam name. NOW, you can’t do anything. All answersheets would be packed together so your copy will not be misplaced. 🙂

Sir, Honestly speaking I have zero knowledge about the mpsc/Upsc examinations and it’s related syllabus. But i have ability to cover those syllabus. I have passionate to crack both exam. What is this new Percentile system ?? MPSC giving so many shocks nowdays.. :p
Does it mean that everyone who secure marks above these percentile limits will get qualified for interview ???
@Rahul, its simple to understand. It is the minimum marks for all Main exams. Due to poor performance of candidates, the score goes down so MPSC decided to fix the score to get quality candidates. If someone scores below this percentile then (s)he will not qualify. However, if many candidates score excellent marks then top scorers would be called for Interview. In some categories, if not many candidates clear this percentile then they will not be selected. This is done by MPSC to make sure they select quality candidates.

Sir, while filling application form / updating profile, mpsc asks for hobbies, activities if any how. Sir, is it mandatory to explain? Also, if someone submit those info., will mpsc panel conduct interview of concerned candidate as per given info.? Or they demand fresh biodata / cv at d time of interview. Ur advice will b very useful.. As it wil make us cautious while writing d same.
@Swapnil, you will be required to fill-up some forms at the place of Interview (on the day of the Interview). They will also have a copy of your Mains application so based on these they will conduct Interview. If one doesn’t have a hobby, then also no problem. But as a well-educated person, it is expected to have a hobby or two.

@Janardhan, if you apply as Ex-Serviceman (during your last year of service) then you can apply till the age of 43 yrs (33 + 5 ESM + 5 yrs as NT). You can apply (as of now) as NT candidate till the age of 38 yrs.
