@Mangesh, if one is already in Police Dept, he can apply for Departmental PSI exam based on following conditions: 1) A graduate with 4 yrs service service. 2)A HSC pass with 5 yrs service service. 3) A SSC pass with 6 yrs service. Age limit – 35 yrs for Open and 40 yrs for Reserved categories.

@Pradnya, yes, it was changed last year. Please refer “MPSC Rajyaseva” —> “Mains” menu. MPSC has changed syllabus of Marathi and English on 11th Jun 2013 (effective from 2013 exam). I will update it on blog today.

I also have yet another offer from Igate Patni with a
higher package.
The thing is that i find this IT sector life very
depressing and unsecure.
I m thinking for applying for MPSC but I have heard

but I m assured that I am damn good in

@Prateek, you have some excellent skills so be assured that with 1 year’s quality preparation, you can crack MPSC State Services exam 2014 or 2015. No need to leave your current job. Plan very well and execute it (by devoting 3 to 4 hours, minimum, everyday).

@Kashmira, 1) UPSC CSM exam – Yes. 2) Both are better, choice is yours. 3) No need to join class room coaching if you can manage your preparation for 1 year. Only proper guidance is needed.

First of Thank you very much for Starting this Blog and helping and guiding us about How to Crack MPSC/UPSC exams,,,,I have given this years UPSC Pre on 26 May,,,,I am getting around 190 to 195 marks out of 400 (including both papers),,,But My Paper I (GS ) SCORE IS 70 and CSAT Score is 120-125,,,,My total is 190-195,,,I belongs to SC category,,,Last year Cut of was 185 (for SC),,,,Do i have chance for Mains ?,,,,,There is minimum Passing Criterion for each paper in UPSC,,,,I got less mark in paper I (around 70),,,,I am very confuse,,,,Please Leave a Reply Sir,,,,,,

@Rajesh, please refer various menus (MPSC Rajyaseva, MPSC STI, MPSC PSI, MPSC Asst) to understand about these exams. Devote at least 3 to 4 hours everyday for 1 year. Read maximum books, magazines, newspapers, etc. and prepare your own notes.

Sorry Sir, but I beg to differ as Co-operative Credit Societies Act was enacted in 1904 while in 1912, again the act was passed regarding strengthening the Cooperative societies. The authentication of 1912 Act inter alia gave rise to formation of Central Societies and Societies other than Credit. Hence I feel Co-operative movement question is bit ambiguous. One may interpret it either way.
