Sir, basic payscale for STI is only 9300 rupees. So after how many years we get increment in the salary?

I just completed my S.Y.B.Com, also doing job (10 hour) but I want to go for UPSC exam it’s my dream. Still I have some question/doubt can you guide me for same sir:-

@Ramesh, 1) yes, even you can apply for UPSC during your TY. 2) & 3) Please refer “UPSC CivSer” menu for details. 4) & 5) Start with NCERT books from 6th to 10th Std. Understand basic concepts and prepare Notes. First complete syllabus of Mains and then Prelims.

Sir i am z p teacher and my father also, then for non cremy layer which income will be consider as family income only father’s or both, if both then it will become more than 4.5 lack anual, so i comfuse about filling form in NT-C or in open categary.
@Sandip, as far as I know, NCL is applicable only to OBC.
Sir.. Bcoz of some problem i couldn’t complete my engineering. So after first year, i took admission in Sikkim Manipal university and finished BSc-IT. I’m studying so hard for this year’s mpsc exam. Will there be any problem at the interview in future??
@Nilesh, as of now, I cannot check it on MPSC website (if the same university name is available in list of universities). You too can check it after 20th May 2013.

@Shweta, time for deciding the strategy for Pre 2013 is already gone. You should have done this 3 to 4 months back. Cut offs can be calculated only after the exam is over.

Thanks for your very valuable information to all students. I saw the result of MPSC yesterday. I see that highest score is 558. What do you think is the configuration of the topper in different subjects (General studies I, II, III, IV, English, Marathi, Interview)? I know it is a vague question. I just need a general idea about the highest score that can be scored. Just give me your opinion about aim at strategy of scoring highest marks in each subject that is possible. Thanks once again.

@अमित, पुढील २ दिवसात जास्तीत जास्त रिविजन करावी. दररोज कमीत कमी एक तरी प्रश्न पत्रिका वेळेच्या आत सोडवून पहावी. १७ तारखेला एक हास्य चित्रपट पहावा व रात्री छान झोप घ्यावी, कोणतेही औषध खावू नये त्या रात्री. १८ ला कोणताही स्ट्रेस न घेता पेपर्स सोडवावेत. कसे सोडवायचे ते मी अगोदरच लिहून ठेवल आहे ते आजच वाचून घ्यावे.

And now I m 27 yrs old and doing a job also that’s why I have very less time to prepare for this exam becaus I never know how to prepare for it …can I get passed in first attempt?
@Nasar, its OK, no problem with the gap. All you need is to be a graduate. To succeed in exam, you need to prepare very well and perform in the exam to get higher score.

@Shrikrishna, दोन्ही. पूर्व परीक्षा जरी दिली तरी तो गृहीत धरतात. एमपीएससी ला attempt वर लीमितेषण नाही, वयाच्या ३८ पर्यंत परीक्षा देवू शकता. पीएसआय ही मात्र वयाच्या ३१ पर्यंतच.

my question is regarding cut off line
as a management student i have gone through CET and CAT exam and comfortable in paper 2 but from paper 1 history and current affairs (maharashtra) are the topics where i am not very confortable in. so is it necessary to have balance in both papers or you can score well in one paper and not so in other? what are your views?

@Manoj, combined score of both papers is taken into consideration for calculation of cut offs. You need to appear in BOTH papers. In my opinion, you should always try your level best to score high in both papers to make sure you end up high in merit list to be considered for top posts. However, it is not mandatory to have balance in both papers.
