please advise what option I need to select.
I have passed SSC in March 1999, HSC in 2001, BA in 2004 and PG in 2007.

@Bhagwan, yes, it should be “Paramparik” if you have cleared the exam in 1 attempt else “Durust”.

@Rajesh, if your account shows “Fee Received” then don’t worry application will be accepted in due course. Your admit card will be available in your account few days before the exam, you can download it from there.

I am Anil 3d Visualizer from mumbai. Working full time for retail design company. I want to apply MPSC well as UPSC. If i study UPSC so its useful for MPSC.
I am B. Com (Degree holder in English). I wish to apply these exams in Marathi but i cant liable for UPSC, So can i apply UPSC in Hindi. Even i study in English from 11th – B.com. But the Quality of these exam ans. is very high i think.
I want to know what books i refer to start study. I have to start the study from Bottom level. Because i left my study from last 6-7 years ago.
I am confuse to choose the lang. option. Even from 2-3 days ago the lang. sub is remove from the exams.
I am very thankful if u suggest me something.

@Anil, for UPSC if you choose Hindi medium, I don’t think you can clear it because you will have to write everything in Hindi and not even a single word in English (except technical terms in brackets) so go for English medium. If you are unable to understand what I mean to say, just try to convert these words from Hindi to English: “समसामयिक”, “उपभोज्य”, “लंबवत”, “घुर्णन गती”, “अप्रत्यास्थ”.

Thank you so much for your valuable reply. I am agree with you. But besides the Hindi, I able to answer the big questions, Essay, Some short question answers. Is it the Hindi Answer is very professional. And Grammatically check.
Means the language of Writing must be very professional i think so. I know most of words are very familiar in English.
My primary education is in Marathi, after that the education till graduation is in English. But i am not very good in English. and far away from Study habit, But i choose these exams because i have to do something in my life for our Society.
The study will improve me beyond my expectation sir.

@अनिल, हिंदीतून देणे फार अवघड आहे. हिंदीतील टर्मिनोलोजी इतकी कठीण आहे कि मराठी भाषिक मुलांना त्यातील कठीण शब्द सुद्धा माहित नसतात तर त्यामुळे त्यांनी यु.पी.एस.सी. साठी हिंदी ऐवजी इंग्रजी माध्यमच निवडावे. त्यासाठी इंग्रजी मध्ये सुधारणा करावी. अजून २ वर्षे तयारीला लागले तरी चालेल असे समजावे.

as per the notification which has paradigm changes in the mains pattern number of attempts for GENERAL candidates are 4 but the clarification regarding the increase in number of attempts is not given. In 1980′s when their was a change in Mains pattern number of attempts for GENERAL candidates were increased to 4 keeping the age limit 30.ya badal kahi info bhetel ka..??

@योगेश, यु.पी.एस.सी. मुख्य परीक्षेत जर वैकल्पिक विषय वाड:मयापैकी (उदाहरणार्थ “मराठी वाड:मय”) घ्यायचे असेल तरच ते डिग्रीला असणे गरजेचे आहे. वाड:मय सोडून बाकी सर्व विषयासाठी हे बंधन नाही. हो, essay, G.S., optional हे तुम्हाला हिंदी मधून देता येतील परंतु मराठीतून नाही कारण तुमचे डिग्री चे मध्यम मराठी नाही.

@प्रशांत, मित्रा, मुलाखत घेणारे आपल्या जीवनात सर्व काही मिळवून आपल्या करिअर मधील अति-उच्च पदावरून निवृत्त झालेले व्यक्ती असतात. ते जवळपास ५ ते १० जन असतात आणि सर्वांचे मत वेगवेगळे असतात मला नाही वाटत कि त्यांना पैशांची हाव असेल. जमाना फार बदलला आहे आणि निवड प्रक्रियेत फार पारदर्शिता आलेली आहे; मिडिया फार पुढे गेला आहे आणि आता कोणीही पैसे घेतलेत तर त्यांच्या नजरेतून सुटू शकत नाही. आपल्या मनातून भीती काढून टाकावी आणि तयारीला लागावे.

@Shankar, PT is part of final round that includes Interview so for this round 1:3 is the ratio.
sir,i have qualified for rajyaseva interview scheduled from 6 march. i noticed while filling post preference form that in my profile the method of examination for s.s.c,h.s.c and graduation is durast(distant) rather than paramparik(conventional).how should i correct it before my interview ,should i just update my profile or send feedback.
which form i.e.mains examination form or the latest updated profile with post prefernces is considered by the interview board
@Arjun, congratulations on being selected. Please have a look at the Mains application that you had filled up and see what it shows. If it shows correct information (Paramparik) then make changes in your profile and update as well as inform MPSC about it. If Mains application shows incorrect information (Durusth) then ask MPSC through Feedback for and Fax and seek permission to change such details in Profile. If they permit then change it.

Sir,I have just read your book MPSC success mantra.I am very surprised cause it is full of information .I have lost my best time cause my method of studying was wrong.Now I am at right track how to study for mpsc.Now I am preparing from STI pre.2013.But I have little problem due to my job I cant get enough time to study.And the other problem is that I havent understand some English as well as Marathi grammar(alankar,vrutte etc)Plz,help me?
