sir dont u think the agri part of state ser.prelims was a bit too technical? too many indices asked ,they r biased. i just cant sleep what should i do? and i m in the loop with ur blog for the first time hope to learn something gr8 from this initiative of urs.
@Amar, you should have prepared well. Questions are fact-based. You need to prepare by reading extensively.

Respected sir, thanks for ur valuable guidance till now , sir lastly my ques is,… In rajyaseva main exam the ques are according to the syll that is given in the mpsc website, or other outside ques is also their as they do in pre exams…,
@Mahesh, questions are set according to syllabus and you are expected to know everything that is under the SUN. Questions that you think ar eoutside the syllabus come under Current Affairs and General Awareness. So you need to be very careful about it.
What I think …this year MPSC Pre was tougher than UPSC….no doubt ….MPSC suddenly changes the exam pattern without any clue….There are some analytical questions…but they are not really analytical…all of them were facts based (fact based analysis) rather than concept based…this was a tough thing to do so because the the level of facts is considered by MPSC are very minute..e.g. Age of Dev Anand….and what was production of cotton..I mean this is not real analytical…I am not confident for my MPSC pre even though I study it deeply. However, even though I have not prepared especilly for UPSC pre…but still able to Score 220+ due to its real analytical nature and looks like will pass in it with well above cut off.. What do you think sir, do facts, persons, dates and years are so important in life than understanding the concept.?
@Ravi, I do agree that MPSC must not frame (I be your pardon dear who had framed this question) silly questions like the age of Dev Anand, this is the ultimate height. But still you can’t escape from the fact that you need to study very very extensively. I am going to put an article today by 9 AM about this under the “Articles” menu.

@Amol, do not put same query under different names and multiple times. Do not use capital letters for entire message. It was 220 for Open category.

@Snehal, yes, you have a chance for Mains. No membership for this blog. In fact, I was very busy with Test Series for 1 week so could not attend 850 queries.

@Tarasingh, prepare according to the upsc syllabus, prepare Notes, revise and solve as many questions as possible.
My score for STI pre is 85. I am from SC(female) category….what are my chances? should i start preparing for mains?

MPSC state pre cha paper khup tough hota….Mazya mate aattaparyant cha toughest paper asava…Last time merit 138 hoti….Aani mala 129 marks hote….Aatakhup kami score honyachi shyakyata aahe….may be below 100….According to you what will be the merit for open category???

Sir, mpsc pre 2012 toughest exam in the history of mpsc. Totally dynamic paper with only 4 repeated questions (indirectly) new approach, laggard methodology uprooted, coached candidates got a beating. kudos to mpsc.
@Maverick, yes, its going to be very analytic approach and I appreciate it. No mug ups now. Only candidates who read extensively and apply their anyalitic capabilities will get selected. Its more like UPSC Civil Services exam.
sir, please post expected cutoffs category wise. some wrong questions as expected eg. Q 6 Set D USA withdrew its military forces after 9 years on 15 Dec 2012. (R) Dec 2012. will it be counted as wrong question. sir?

@Mahesh, our manual is not study material book. It is a guidance book that will guide you for Prelims, Main exam and till you come out of Interview room. Yes, you can refer 40-50 books and get ready in an year for 2013. Consider joining our Miracle 2013 PGP.

sir after seeing todays paper of mpsc . what do u suggest the strategy should be of studying.for the next year.prelims.
@Dr. DJ, you should read extensively (40 to 50 books, 5monthly magazines, 3 to 4 newspapers everyday, watch TV news/analysis/discussions, AIR, BBC, etc). Prepare Notes, Revisions and Mock Tests. This way, you will be able to form your own decision of the topics/issues. This entire process should be for 1 year. Good luck.

@Anjali, you are going for Mains, so be prepared for it. Cut off for you could be around 170-180.

@Rohit, no specific exam for CS but you can utilise your expertise after becoming a Class I officer like Dy Collector, Dy SP/ACP, etc. Take it very seriously if you start your preparation.

sir, i think there r a few mistakes in SALES TAX INSPECTOR Prelim 2012′s answer keys (atleast in series D) like atmiya sabha was formed in Culcatta by Ram Mohan Roy but d answer is given as mumbai. btw, my score is komin out 2 b “81″ and i belong 2 d general category. do u c ny prospects 4 me 2 get 2 d mains dis year sir?
