Please do not get confused about the words “Direct Entry”. There are two types of exams held by MPSC, 1. Direct entry exam for all candidates, and 2. Departmental exam for only THOSE candidates who are already in the lower rungs in the department and they can apply for this exam to improve their career. For example, a Police Constable can give departmental exam to become PSI.

@Prashant, it depends on various factors like vacancies, number of candidates appearing for it, etc. so do not worry about it at this moment. Focus on your preparation.

@Ijaj, you may devote at least 2 to 3 hours everyday to prepare for 2014 exam, else leave the dream. Your memory will not help you clear the exam if you study only on weekends. Refer “MPSC PSI” menu/sub-menus to read very important guidelines about that exam.

@Pradeep, all of these exams have negative marking system. UPSC Has Indian Engg Services exam.

I believe, MPSC Prelims 2012 results are yet to be out, still people are posting their scores on this portal.
whether any answer key for the actual prelims exam is available to arrive at the score, if yes, can the same be made available?

@Amit, yes, they have done their homework using the official answer keys, you should also refer to them on MPSC website as well as this blog. Result will be out by 15th Aug. Please refer to the cut off list I have already posted here under “MPSC Rajyaseva” menu.

@Rajesh, go to Internet only when you are in need so it doesn’t take too much money now a days (Rs. 10 to 15 per hour).

@Aarya, you have LAST chance for 2013 because you will be completing 33 on 2nd Jun 2013 and max age limit as on 1st Apr 2013 will be 33.
