New Pattern: MPSC Rajyaseva Main Exam:
6 papers:
1) English (100 Marks) – Descriptive type questions
2) Marathi (100 Marks) – Descriptive type questions
3) General Studies Paper I (150 Marks) – Objective type questions (MCQs) – 2 hours
4) General Studies Paper II (150 Marks) – Objective type questions (MCQs) – 2 hours
5) General Studies Paper III (150 Marks) – Objective type questions (MCQs) – 2 hours
6) General Studies Paper IV (150 Marks) – Objective type questions (MCQs) – 2 hours
Negative Marking for GS papers – For 2 wrong answers 1 mark will be cut.
Passing Marks:
45% in each of the 6 papers for Open Category
40% in each of the 6 papers for Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBCs, etc)
Interview: 100 Marks

@Sushant, start RIGHT NOW your preparation for 2013 exam because it requires serious efforts over (at least) one year. You can apply for Class I/II posts through Rajyaseva exam. @Dr. Rathod, let’s wait for another 2 – 3 days, MPSC is expected to release a notification for Prelims 2012. I personally feel that you should start with IT.

Except Rajyaseva, all exams will be conducted as per the schedule. Rajyaseva exam is undergoing changes for pattern and syllabus. You can join our 1 year course that you will prepare for 2013 exam. Join our Web-PGP and we will arrange everything for you, according to your pregnancy and thereafter.

this syllabus is very tough. because all sub altogether in this paper. the candidates must have all sub knowledge. all sub have brief study.

I think for good officers this objective type exam should not be conducted because in this type of exams the candidate may not express his views on the particular issue.

@Dr. Junaid, yes, you can give UPSC in Urdu but MPSC exam has to be given in either English or Marathi. Now there is no optional paper in Mains.

MPSC must behave as upsc bcoz it gives us more attention on study and better chances national level so the new pattern may be easy but not eq.to upsc leve,we get saparated by this frm upsc to mpsc
