मित्रांनो
परवाच तुम्ही राज्यसेवेची पूर्वपरीक्षा दिली, नाही का? मग आता काय निवांत?
तुमच्यापैकी बऱ्याच जणांनी नक्कीच विचार केला असेल की चला आता निवांत आठ पंधरा दिवस आराम करू या, खूप अभ्यास झाला मागील काही महिन्यान पासून, होय की नाही? अगदी बरोबर आहे तुमच पण काय हो इतके दिवस जास्त होत नाहीत का आराम करायला?
पण तसं पाहाल तर २ दिवस ठीक आहेत हो आराम करायला, मूड फ्रेश करायला कारण आता येणारी मुख्य परीक्षा म्हणजे फारच कठीण आहे आणि त्या परीक्षेसाठी तर अजूनच मेहनत करावी लागणार आहे. ही परीक्षा नोव्हेंबर/डिसेंबर २०१० मध्ये घेण्यात येईल. तुमच्याकडे फक्त ५ महिन्यांचा कालावधी आहे तयारीसाठी.
बऱ्याच जणांना माहित नसेल की ही एम पी एस सी मुख्य परीक्षा तुमच्या कॉलेजच्या परीक्षेपेक्षा फार वेगळी असते.
ह्या परीक्षेत सफल होण्यासाठी आणि मेरीट लिस्ट मध्ये चांगल्यापैकी नंबर मिळवायचा असेल तर मग तुमचं सर्व लक्ष आता ह्या लेखी परीक्षेवर केंद्रित कराव लागणार आहे, हे लक्षात ठेवा.
सर्वसाधारण पाहाल तर, एम पी एस सी ची परीक्षा देणारे फ्रेश पदवीधारक असतात. बरेचजण पहिल्यांदाच ही परीक्षा देत असतात. तुम्ही सुद्धा त्यातीलच असाल असं मला वाटते, हो ना?
पूर्वपरीक्षा मल्टीपल चोइस म्हणजे बहुपर्यायी स्वरूपाची असते आणि मुख्य परीक्षा ही सब्जेक्तीव्ह स्वरूपाची असते. तुमच्या कॉलेजची परीक्षा असते तशीच असते पण उत्तरांचं स्वरूप खूप वेगळं असते. कॉलेजच्या परीक्षेत विषयाचं कितपर्यंत ध्ण्यान आहे हे तपासण्यासाठी प्रश्न विचारले असतात पण एम पी एस सी मुख्य परीक्षेचा उद्देश काही वेगळाच असतो. जे कोणी कोलेजच स्टायील मध्ये उत्तर लिहितात ते ह्या मुख्य परीक्षेत नापास होतात. ह्याच कारण हेच की एम पी एस सी निवड करते ती विद्वानाची नाही तर चांगले प्रशासक होवू शकतील अशांची, ज्यांच्याकडे वैचारिक शक्ती आहे त्यांची.
हे सांगायचं तात्पर्य हेच की मुख्य परीक्षेसाठी आकलनशक्ती लागते. प्रश्नांना समजून त्यांच उत्तरं लिहाव लागते. पण त्या आधी ते उत्तरं प्लान कराव लागतं. उत्तरात तुम्ही काय लिहिता ह्याला मार्क्स मिळत नाहीत तर तुम्ही काय लिहित नाही ह्याला मार्क्स मिळतात. समजल का तुम्हाला मला काय म्हणायचं आहे? जे नको आहे ते जर तुम्ही लिहिलं नाही त्यालाच छान उत्तरं म्हणतात.
मला माहित आहे तुम्ही फार हुशार आहात आणि मुख्य परीक्षेसाठी सिरीयस पण आहात. पण अशा खूप महत्वाच्या बाबी आहेत ज्या तुम्हाला माहित नाहीत आणि कुणी सांगत पण नाही; कारण स्पर्धा खूप असते प्रत्येकामध्ये आणि आपणच सफल व्हावं हे उद्दिष्ट असते सर्वांपुढे म्हणून बर्याचशा गोष्टी लपवून ठेवल्या जातात पण मी असं करत नाही आणि करणार पण नाही.
मी सर्व गोष्टी इथेच लिहित बसलो तर बरेच दिवस जातील आणि तुमच्याकडे इतका वेळ पण नाही. म्हणून मी एक वेगळा मार्ग शोधला आहे. तो म्हणजे एक संपूर्ण पुस्तकं लिहायचा, ज्यामध्ये सर्वच गोष्टी स्पष्ट करता येतील.
मी “एम पी एस सी सक्सेस मंत्र – द कम्प्लीट म्यनुअल” हे पुस्तकं लिहित आहे. हे पुस्तकं एम पी एस सी मुख्य परीक्षेसाठी यशाच एक मंत्रच राहणार आहे.
ह्यात काय राहणार आहे? हे बघा सध्या मार्केट मध्ये खूप सारं स्टडी मटेरियल आहे त्यामुळे माझं पुस्तकं असल्याप्रकारच राहणार नाही. मग वेगळं काय असेल ह्यात आणि आम्ही हे पुस्तकं का घ्यावं असा प्रश्न तुम्हाला नक्कीच पडला असेल?
बघा जर का युद्धात लढायचं असेल, तलवारी पण असतील पण त्या कशा चालवायच्या हेच माहित नसेल तर युद्ध जिंकता येईल का?
तुमच्याकडे स्टडी मटेरियल खूप आहे पण त्याचा वापर योग्य प्रकारे कसा करायचा आणि मुख्य परीक्षेत पास कसं व्हायचं, मेरीट लिस्ट मध्ये वरती कसं येता येईल हेच माहित नसेल तर त्या महागड्या स्टडी मटेरियल चा काय फायदा?
म्हणून मी तुम्हाला यशाच मंत्र देणार आहे ह्या पुस्तकाच्या रुपात.

- सर्वच जण ह्या परीक्षेत सफल होवू शकतात का? नाही तर मग कोण होवू शकते?
- मी तर ऐकलं आहे की फक्त हुशार विद्यार्थीच सफल होतात मुख्य परीक्षेत, पण मी तर इतका हुशार नाही, मग माझ काय?
- दररोज किती वेळ अभ्यास करावा लागेल ह्या परीक्षेत सफल व्हायला? आणि किती दिवस करावा लागेल?
- जास्तीत जास्त उमेदवार का नापास होतात राज्यसेवा मुख्य परीक्षेत?
- मुख्य परीक्षेत सफल कसा होवू शकतो मी?
- मुख्य परीक्षेचा अभ्यासक्रम काय आहे आणि कसा असतो?
- अनिवार्य विषय कोणते असतात आणि त्याला काय महत्व आहे मुख्य परीक्षेत?

- मला पर्सनल स्टडी प्लान बनवून मिळेल का?
- प्रत्येक विषयासाठी कोणते पुस्तकं वापरू? कोणत्या टॉपिक साठी कोणतं पुस्तक वापरू?
- कोणते विषय मी निवडू मुख्य परीक्षेला? कोणते निवडायला पाहिजेत?
- स्टडी मटेरियल कसं आणि कुठून घेवू?
- नोट्स कसे बनवू? कसे असतात हे नोट्स आणि जरुरी आहे का हे नोट्स बनवणं?
- अभ्यास कसा करू? इंतेन्सीव की एकस्तेन्सीव?

@श्रीकांत, मित्रा जी परीक्षा द्यायची आहे त्याचा जर अभ्यासक्रम दिलेला असेल तर त्यानुसार अभ्यास करावा. नौकरी मिळविण्यासाठी अगोदर ठरवावे कि काय करायचे आहे आणि त्या नुसार तयारी करावी.

@Akhil, yes you can appear in the exam while in the final year. You must work very hard for minimum 1 to 2 years as the syllabus is very large and you need to read and study about 90 to 120 books. You must take the exam very seriously and must read widely. Do not depend on just few books. I have one query regarding eligibilty for MPSC exams.I read somewhere minimum percentage for qualifying for MPSC is 60% for open category and 55% for OBC.Is it true?
@Dr. Rahul, there is no minimum percentage of marks required to be eligible to apply for MPSC Rajyaseva exam. One needs to be a “pass” in graduation.

@Vishal, PSI Prelims 2011 will be held in Jun 2011 and PSI Main Exam in October 2011. But you should start your preparation right now as there is very less time available with you. One needs at least 8 to 12 months preparation for this exam.

Yes, you can apply for Class I & II posts in Maharashtra, like Dy Collector, Dy. SP, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, BDO, etc
You should immediately start your preparation for next year’s Rajyaseva exam.
The MPSC Rajyaseva 2011 Exam’s notification/advertisement will appear in newspapers in Dec 2010. The Prelims exam will be held in May 2011 and Mains exam will be in Nov/Dec 2011; Interviews will be held in Jan/Feb/Mar 2012.
Prelims exam will be of 2 hours duration wherein there will be 1 question papers of 200 questions and 200 marks.
Mains exam will have 2 compulsory question papers, English, Marathi. The will be 2 papers each of General Studies, Optional Subject 1 and Optional subject 2. You should choose these 2 optional subjects based on your liking. You need to get the application form + Information booklet from your Main Post Office, in Dec 2010 and submit the exam application form there itself.

I like the way you are providing details and motivating individuals. I am a software engineer and working abroad for several years. But, ever since 27/11 happened my mind is constantly telling me do something for country, maharashtra and highly interested in becoming ACP/Dy.SP. But, I have several doubts what if I do not get into the services, I might have to sacrifice my present career and loose monetary earnings. I have lost touch of studies for several years so also will be difficult to start such intensive study. I will be really glad what you suggest on my situation. Thanks

@Amit, no its not sufficient. Please note down the list of books mentioned on the blog. You need to read lots of books and first need to prepare for Main exam and not Prelims.
