@Swati,you should start right now because there are just 11 months left for next Rajyaseva Prelims (2012). There are about 75 books to be read and 5 monthly magazines to be followed, Notes to be prepared. You also need proper guidance about the exams, both Pre and Mains. @Deepali, it is not study material type book. It is manual that guides you to the success path and ways to prepare for the Main exam, very well. You must book the 2nd edition. We are writing a book on Prelims, too but it will take 3 months.

@Swapnil, yes, you can apply for both exams. You must deposit Rs. 775/- in our bank account and sms your postal address to our number, you will get the manual (Marathi edition) in 3 days time. English edition is yet to come, its under print but will take much time.

@Narsing, the Rajyaseva Prelims is on 13th Feb 2011, Last date of filling up online form is 10 Jan 2011. The posts are: Dy Collector, Dy SP, Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildae and many class I and II posts.

@Mahendra, you should go for MPSC State Services and UPSC Civil Services exams. There is Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Central Excise Group A) for which UPSC conducts the Civil Services exam. There are various other exams conducted by MPSC for technical posts like “System Analyst”. You must keep your eye on MPSC website for Direct Entry exams.

@Swapnil, start your preparation for MPSC right now because it takes about 1 and 1/2 year for complete preparation. Choose your subjects for MPSC from among these: Public Administration, Geography, History, etc. Collect all books for the chosen subjects and cover your whole syllabus in 1 year. Everyday study for MPSC (at least 2 hours now and when in your TY BCA, increase it to 6 hours everyday).

Dear sir, my wife is preparing for MPSC and she had got qualified upto interview in 2006 but not recommended. After that she has given STI and mpsc pre 2010, but unfortunalely not qualified for pre due to 1 mark less. Pl suggest what to do in the future.

@हर्षद, हो तुला आता पासूनच आतापासूनच तयारी करावी लागेल म्हणजे पहिल्या प्रयत्नातच सफल होशील. घरी राहून सुद्धा अभ्यास करता येईल. सिल्याबस प्रमाणे मुख्य परीक्षेची व पूर्व परीक्षेची सर्व पुस्तके विकत घेवून व्यवस्थित प्लानिंग करून अभ्यास करावा. सुरुवातीला दररोज कमीत कमी ४ ते ६ तास व नंतर ८ ते १२ तास अभ्यास करावा. सध्या तुमच्याकडे भरपूर वेळ आहे, त्यामुळे अगोदर मुख्य परीक्षेचा व नंतर पूर्व परीक्षेचा अभ्यास करावा. प्रत्येक टॉपिक पूर्ण झालाच पाहिजे अशी प्लानिंग करावी.
