@Shilpa, I have checked your profile and also result sheet on MPSC website. There are female with same score and educational qualification as your’s who have got selected but they might be having work experience (this is also a criteria at final selection). Here are the 7 criteria: i) Highest Qualification, ii) Date of highest qualification, iii) preferential qualification as per advt, iv) if experience is asked in advt, then period of experience, v) if preference to be given for SC/ST/……./OBC, etc, vi) Age (elder will get preference over younger, vii) preference for first letter of surname (alphabetical order).
In my opinion, you should contact MPSC office personally to know the reason of non-inclusion of your name in the result sheet (I have not checked entire list for your name).

@Priyanka, Range Forest Officer in charge of a Range is responsible for the supervision and control of the staff and for matters concerning the development and protection of forests in the Range. R.F.O. is responsible for administration of his Range and proper execution of forest development and protection works in his Range. He arranges for exploitation, regeneration and protection of forest according to the sanctioned working plans, under the guidance of the Assistant Conservator of Forests and Dy.C.F./ Divisional Forest Officer.
Selected candidates are required to undergo medical tests and a walking test. After final selection the candidates are required to undergo two years training course successfully and complete one year field training satisfactorily for completion of 3 years probation period. Suitable persons in Forester cadre having completed minimum 3 years regular service are eligible for promotion to the post of Range Forest Officer on the basis of seniority cum merit. The person appointed by either promotion or nomination is required to pass the departmental examination
and examination in Hindi and Marathi language unless he/she has already passed or has been exempted from passing these examinations.
Tenure of a posting will not be more than 3 years in a district and in exceptional conditions not more than 4 years. You may be posted in any district within Maharashtra. RFO is required to undertake tours to adjust adequate field visits and attend important meetings at district and regional levels. R.F.O. has to spend the greater portion of their time on tours and not content himself with completing the prescribed number of days for touring. RFO should carefully and properly plan the tours to exercise maximum possible personal supervision of forest works, should tour at least 20 days in each month and spend maximum time in the field.

I have applied for State Services Pre 2016. While applying my graduation course duration has been recorded as 10 months instead of 3 years. I have emailed MPSC as well as try to call them every day however there has been no response. Please advise.
@Raviraj, 🙂 don’t worry. Keep your focus on the exam preparation. Change it in your Profile and inform MPSC through Feedback form, email and FAX. At the time of Mains, your changes would be there when you apply for it.

This is regarding MPSC Civil Engg. Services,MPSC has conducted Civil Engg exam for Grade-2 first and then for Grade-A in the year 2013.Most of candidates who was already selected in Grade-B also got selected in Grade-A(results declared in 2015) and it is obvious that they will join Grade-A so that will create vacancies in Grade-2 and in year 2015 MPSC also published notification for Grade-2.
So my question is there any chances that MPSC will increase vacancies for the 2015 notification?.(Mains result is yet to come).

@Nikhil, as per norms, unfilled vacancies are carried over to next year so obviously they will do it but at appropriate stage, if legal issues are not involved.
Hello sir this is Amit Lingayat from Mumbai . Sir due to some economical conditions i had left the full time B.Sc from Mumbai university . After a gap of 2 year i rejoined in EASTERN INSTITUTE OF LEARNING MANAGEMENT , SIKKIM . FOR T.Y.B.Sc only as i have done my S.YB.Sc from Mumbai University .
The above i.e Eiilim university , sikkim has given me admission directly to last year .I.e TYBsc
I got passed out in 2012 through distance mode .
Now in 2015 UGC had issued a notice for the students who have done graduation from Eiilim with full time only are valid and those who have done from distance education are not valid .
What should i do now > as i am preaparing for Competative exam .
MPSC is taken my form for Pre exam.

@Amit, you should visit MPSC office personally and show them your certificates and mark sheets of both universities. Seek their opinion about this issue, immediately.

Sir I had appeared for Maharashtra civil Engineering mains exam. While filling the form I didn’t select non-creamy layer category so that I didn’t got the benefit of women reservation. By chance if I got call for interview , at that time can I submit non-creamy layer certificate and apply for women reservation ??
@Saloni, you should keep everything ready in case you get selected from that quota. I had read somewhere that if a woman gets similar post she can submit NCL meant for Women from Open category.

@Pallavi, yes, no need to leave your current job. You can join our PGP and it can be completed over next 1 or 2 years (you may devote minimum 4-5 hours everyday).

@Pallavi, you can email me the screenshot. You can call me to discuss and clarify your queries. After a long research of 30 yrs, I recommend 4-5 hours everyday for 450 days to complete the entire preparation so its upto you whether you want to go with my advice or rely on what you see people studying for 12-14 hrs everyday. Instead of hard work, one should go after smart work in limited available time.
Sir I have scored 133.75 score in assistant main exam. Is this score sufficient to shortlist for sbc category ???
